Before reaching the Aral Sea you pass Lake Sudochie and the desolated fishing village of Urga. Although this place is extremely isolated seasonal fishermen still live here. At the start of the season they take ice from the lake to fill the ice house cut deep into a hillside. This means they can store their catch away from the blistering heat.

Here, a fisherman rests on an outdoor bed in the shade.
